Description Of Advanced Queue Management System
A System Contributing to Improving the Quality and Efficiency of
Counter Services
This is a multi-functional advanced queue management system. It was
developed to improve service delivery at service counters by
managing and minimizing queues to improve efficiency and customer
experience.
This system uses cloud computing to allow the operators and the
customers to check the condition of congestion in the waiting area
and issue queuing tickets regardless of where he/she is located.
Besides, it offers a function to automatically inform a person
waiting their turn, either by a voice mail notification or by SMS,
that he/she will soon receive assistance.
Further, it has a memo function to improve cooperation among staff
members in the store, and a function to manage store information in
real time.
How does Shangxu Queue Management System work?
The customer who enters the Customer Service will select a service
on the ticket dispenser terminal, then with the printed ticket will
sit down in the customer waiting area. During the waiting, the
customer can follow the calling of the ticket numbers on a central
display, which in the same time, can play even commercials. The
administration can be easier if the customer made a
pre-registration or identified himself at the ticket dispenser
terminal. The management, using the up-to-date statistics in the
system, can react immediately in a specific case and is able to
design more precisely a long-term strategy.
The Complete Queue System consist of the following:
1. Ticket Dispenser : IR Touch Screen LCD Monitor+ Industrial PC +
80mm Thermal Printer (All integrated into one unit)
2. counter calling pad terminal or counter computer which install
the software call pad
3. Led/LCD Main Display(S) Screen In common waiting area for
showing customer ticket number from all counters
4. Led/LCD Counter Displays Above Counter for showing ticket number
calling by this counter
5. All units are interconnected by means of RS485 or wireless ways
